Astronomy Magazine

I only buy Astronomy Magazine if there's something in it that touches on my own concerns.  This months issue looks at the electromagnetic pulse generated by solar flares.  The issue of EMP has been getting a lot of attention in the last few months,  since speculation in Congress that the North Koreans and the Iranians are both dabbling in the technology. People tend to overlook the fact that if we had another Carrington Event, like they had in 1859, the psychopath countries wouldn't need to waste their money.

It's on the shelf at the grocery store now, so I suppose it must have been out for some time.  Might be worth the price of a copy.
