Down the Rabbit Hole.
“There is no real ending. It’s just the place where you stop the story.”
― Frank Herbert
MO has had an interesting week. Didn't figure that state for the rioting type but I think the burbs of St Louis falls into the Urban welfare entitlement arena. Not a concern for me living in a small town in CENLA. The cops here are pretty heavy handed but most folks seem to be good with it. As to my local area roughly 3/4 drive ways seem to have duck boats/ blinds. The ratio of shotguns says our odds of keeping order in a short to mid term disaster are quite good.
Riots work best in the land of the Sheeple. When you get people that don't tolerate that kind of behavior, the Morlocks tend to look for a place that does.
Agreed, I could definitely see a riot in NOLA. Houston is too spread out and generally not pedestrian friendly for a good walk and smash riot.
History always repeats itself. The next generation doesn't learn from past mistakes.
I'm old enough to remember the 1960's race riots. These things today don't hold a candle to those, but it's the same players and the same mindset.
Hey Harry,(captaincrunch)The only solution for looters, etc is maybe 'double ought buckshot' at close range. Rifle rounds at much longer ranges. On the dirtbag in the video. That was a big dude, gotta be at least 220 LBS. Thank God for the employee at John Brownings shop that came up with 230 them grain rounds. Many people down here use the 'Canadian thing too"Too be equal opportunity too. We use "tweeker", wife beater, cracker, and many more names for lots of other stupid people. If someone act's like a scumbag. The get the appropriate name based on their stereotype regardless of color etc.
CC, how can you advocate the violent oppression of these poor people. They are all suffering from the knowledge that over 100 years ago, people like them were serving "the massah." Of course this has a terrible impact on their behavior today. I like birdshot, myself. I don't want to kill them, I just want them to leave the area expeditiously.
