Out of touch for a few days.

I am going to have to have a little hospital time this week. It is nothing serious, at all.  Just some routine things associated with being older. Nothing interesting or dramatic, alas.

I won't have access to a computer until Wednesday if all goes as planned. So I won't be able to release comments or respond, or check other blogs. But I'll catch up ASAP.  I think I have cleared my decks in terms of responding to emails or comments right now, but if I missed someone it wasn't intentional.

In the interim, here are some good cartoons a friend sent me tonight.

    1. Well, hospitals are not fun places to be, but it's behind me now. Back home.

  2. Even when it's nothing concerning, hospitals are no picnic. Hope the time goes swiftly so you can be back home where you'll be more comfortable!

    1. Lisa, it is certainly more comfortable here. Windy and cold, but warm and comfortable inside.

    1. More contact with the medical profession is one of the down sides to getting older. Doctors have to pay for that lake house and the beach condo somehow!

    1. Thanks, Kev. Just routine stuff but I am glad to have escaped the clutches of the hospital. I don't see much difference between prison and a hospital, although prison is probably cleaner.

I like the "Get Out of Jail Free" card. How funny. What a crazy election!

    1. I' home, in my old comfortable clothes, and nobody is telling me what to do. So I'm happy.

I do get some funny cartoons from people, and I like to share them.

    1. I got through 7 of the 10 books in the Bernard Cornwell "Saxon" series, and the 10th is not out yet! Something good in everything.

    1. I'm fine, Yael. Not to worry. The hospital people were glad to see the last of me, I am a difficult patient. ;-)

    1. I'm fine, Dani. thanks for asking. My computer is downstairs and I hadn't wanted to mess with the stairs until I was sure I wouldn't wind up in heap at the bottom of them.
