Nothing going on.

Nothing happening here.  Still dry, but getting colder now.  Should have the first snow very soon if the drought will let up.

  1. My favorite type of weekend. We don't have to go any where or do anything. Just wine and books.

    1. Have to go into town to do some banking tomorrow, and stop by the library. That's it for me.

  2. We had four inches of snow last night. It's a start. I see where the evil democrats are up to their old tricks.

    1. I have been watching their antics with a mixture of contempt and astonishment. How much better off we would all be without those people.

Wish we could get some snow. I'm glad of the rain but snow would be so calming.

  5. I haven't been seeing the fires on the news the last couple days. I'm hoping that means they're under control.

    1. We had some rain last night over the whole region, and I haven't smelled or seen smoke for two days. I haven't checked the maps though, or listened to the Atlanta news like I usually do.

    1. We have had a little rain, and the temperatures are down now. It's still not anything like it should be here, we should have snow any time now but there's no sign of it.

    1. We'd be glad to take that rain here. We were supposed to get a big storm last night. I spent all day cleaning out gutters, cleaning out drainage ditches, putting shakes back on the big winds had pulled off. Then it drizzled all night and now it's gone.....

    1. We had a little rain last night. The humidity is higher. I need to check the fire maps and see what the overall status is. The last few days, I haven't had a lot of time to do my normal routine.

    1. If we got three inches of snow here, I'd just let it stay there till it melted. I don't go anywhere when it snows anyway. Must be pretty at your place with the snow and all.

    1. We did get a little rain last night, Jana, but nothing like the weather people promised us. The fires don't seem to be near me now since I can't smell the smoke, but I haven't checked the maps for a bit.

    1. We got just a little rain last night, Glock Mom. Nothing like the weather channel promised. I spent all day yesterday fixing shakes, cleaning gutters, and cleaning out drainage ditches. I might as well just not have bothered.
