" Rejoice, We Conquer!" Pheidippides the Hoplite, after running 26 miles from the battlefield of Marathon to Athens.

Donald Trump Wins!

as of 10:00 a.m. 9 Nov 2016

I am thankful that those who believed Trump would prevail were right.  CC, Tewshooz, Michael, Troy and others, kudos for your stalwart faith in the face of apparent doom. I admit I had resigned myself to Clinton taking over and me having to hide out in the woods for the rest of my life.

I feel better today than I've felt in ages. It's like being told you had some fatal disease, then finding out it was a mistake in the lab.

Some triumphant music is in order.

And then, a little less high brow but never the less, very appropriate.

I've been watching videos of Clinton Supporters weeping and wailing as she went down the tubes. I can't get enough of it!  The Tears of Unfathomable Sadness!

A Bas Les Aristos!

  2. You may still need them, Riverrider. Remember what the Yankee Captain said in "The Outlaw Josey Wales."

    1. He's not a politician, and that's a great recommendation these days. I have faith he will do what he can, and that may be a lot. If even a fraction of all the BLM and Limousine Leftists I saw cursing and saying they were going to Canada or to Africa actually do it, why that alone would be a Godsend. ;-)

I know they won't but I sure enjoyed hearing them say it.

The first thing Trump should do is go through that letterall those effeminate Ivy League sots at the State Department signed, saying they would never work for him. Tell them to have their desks cleaned out and be gone by tomorrow.

Then tell Paul Ryan to clean out his office.

There are plenty of heads that should roll, and I'd be delighted to sit on the tumbrel and watch the show.

      Life is good.

  4. still a lot of time between now and the inauguration for evil to stir.
i think the capital should be in the middle of the country.
the present white house and other buildings can be tourist attractions.

    1. I think inevitably Islamic terrorists will take care of that issue, unless the new President can fire some entrenched bureaucrats and get rid of the heads of the FBI, Justice Department, and Homeland Security.

It would be a disaster if anything happened to Trump. Pence seems to be a good man but he's a politician and that taints him.

    1. Well, it's always good to have a little extra backup, we aren't through this yet as all the turmoil in L.A. , Chicago, New York, and other places last night showed. If I remember my childhood bible classes, God was always good at smiting the Amalekites , Edomites, and other enemies various and sundry. I would be delighted if he would send Toads and Flies to plague the Clintonites. I'm as serious as a heart attack, we could use the Devine Intervention.

  6. There is a lot of work to do. Clinton won the popular vote....think about that. More than half of Americans voted for Communism and tyranny. We have to hold Congress' feet to the fire now. Trump, too. He must do what he promised us. I think he will.

    1. This morning, Fox said that Clinton won the popular vote by nearly one million votes. That's bad news. The riots across the country last night , largely fomented by BLM and Occupy, are a harbinger of things to come. It may be that if they want to take to the streets that ordinary citizens, emboldened by Trump's win, will meet them with axe handles and other attitude adjustment tools. I think that will happen. When other people I have suggested it, I've always said in the past that conservatives tend to be law abiding people, especially the rural citizens who are more likely to take direct action than people who live in the Hive. I've also said it would never happen because there are no leaders to get the show started. But now I think there may be, that people may take corrective action on their own. I don't BLM and the people in the little masks, along with their white trash college kid supporters, could stand up to a good poke in the eye with a pick handle. They deserve it. For too long, under Barrack the Hermaphrodite, those people have been allowed to do what they wanted. Now, as CC has said frequently, the time is ripe for push back.

    2. Most recent figure I read was 303000 popular votes difference between the two and the figure is narrowing with recounts and run-off elections still taking place later.

      Delete
    3. That "nearly a million" figure comes from the 0900 Fox news show this morning. I don't know how many it will turn out to be. The MSM is trying to make capital out of it, but they can whistle in the wind. What is, is. Trump is president and they can snark and whine all they want to, but it won't make a damn bit of difference.

  7. I will admit that I was beginning to lose hope as evidenced in my last post. And it was some others on here had more faith in the Don than I did. Glad it worked out, thank God. I have to give credit to small town, blue collar America for this win.

And how apropos that you put up the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, hehe.

The interesting thing about this election is that it was not about conservative values. It was the anger that got people out to vote. Hillary won the popular vote, so you could say a majority of America supports progressive ideology. And the decline will continue. And four years from now, it will be even nastier...you better believe the libs will be back in greater numbers. So for me, the victory is short lived (sorry to rain on the parade here, can't help but plan ahead). --Troy

    1. True. What you say is true. But the finger is in the dike. Hillary Clinton will not be appointing 4 left wing activist judges to the Supreme Court. Hillary Clinton will not be increasing the number of Moslems coming to spread their filth and batten on our taxes, as she planned to do. Nor will she be granting amnesty to the illegals here already, or instituting open borders to let the rest of the cockroaches scuttle out from under the refrigerator.

I watched the Governor Elect of Missouri on Fox this morning, and I realized that a lot more has happened than just the Presidential race. Lots of good people have taken positions of power.

The Republican Party as it has existed is finished. And good riddance. I saw a long segment on all those people who pranced around , denigrating Trump, pouring scorn on his supporters, and , like Paul Ryan, doing all they could to make sure the Democrats won the election. Now, those same people are sending obsequious, brown nosing letters to Trump. Fox showed their pictures and their letters on the program. It was sickening. The best thing to do is sweep the John McCain's and Lindsey Graham's into the ash bin of history. Give the power to the new Republican Party, and get rid of the elitist trash that has been running it.

If Clinton had won, America would be finished. But now there's hope. We need to get tough, very tough, on illegals. They're used to being able to break the law with impunity, but now maybe we can get rid of them, and put the repeat offenders to work on the chain gang. There's plenty of grass to cut and trash to pick up along the highways.

We need to jail those mealy mouthed little scum bags running around burning the American flag on college campuses as they were doing last night. Pol Pot their privileged asses, send them to the countryside to learn how to get their hands dirty and do an honest days work. We've got all those old FEMA camps that Janet Reno built back when William the Bastard was King. They'll do for a start.

As for BLM, they're criminals, nothing more and nothing less. Just as the Justice Department suppressed the KKK in the 1960's, time to do so now with the black equivalent. Zero tolerance for people who think they can burn, destroy and attack other citizens because of their skin color. I've seen a lot of them saying they are going back to Africa now. South Africa or Rhodesia is welcome to them. I'll kick in for one way tickets.

It will be a long, hard road but Trump will be our Diocletian, while Hillary would have been our Caligula.

  8. I am just so relieved that the election is over and that Trump won. I feel as though it gives us a little breathing room, at least for a short while. Since 9/11 occured, it seems as though this country has had one crisis after another, and frankly, I am very weary. I am sure that O will do all the damage he can between now and Jan. 20th. But,as for me, I am taking a deep breath tonight and enjoying the quiet. Jana

    1. Jana, we aren't out of the woods yet, but the forest is thinning out. At least we have some breathing room. I think more than just political offices have changed hands. Now we have the moral ascendancy, regardless of how hard the MSM and the Clinton Morlocks try to stop us. I have been watching the major networks disparage Trump all morning, but they can't change the fact that the decent people of America showed their strength. It's a modern miracle, and one we are obligated to make the maximum use of.

No harm in taking a little time for reflection and to savor the moment. I'm doing exactly the same thing, all the more so since I thought we were fighting in a lost cause.

  9. I was so happy this AM to see TRUMP had locked it up. I watched Fox News Live online last night. The look on the faces of the losing supports was PRICELESS.

Trump does have his work cut out for the transition. He will put the best folks into the right spots. Sounds like Rudy will be HLS, I think Gen Flynn could be Sec State or Defense. Stay Tuned...Will OB try and stay or has he had enough???

  10. Hey Harry,

    (captaincrunch)

I thought by five PM, yesterday that Trump would lose. I admit I gave up and went into a totally media/electronic shutdown until eleven Pm and I was amazed at what I saw. By one thirty AM it was final. I went to sleep in good mood, got up and was on the computer watching media pundents having meltdowns and breakdowns. It was wonderful. The shoe is on the other foot. How does it feel to have most of America reject eight years of your bullcrap!

'Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and see to the lamentation of the liberal Media:)

    1. You know, I thought of that old Genghis Khan quote too. And the lamentations going on right now are sweet indeed. I've been watching MSM stations and they are going berserk. More coverage of the riots across the country last night than anything else, and all sorts of sanctimonious squawks about Hillary getting more of the popular vote.

Let them whine all they want to. They can't change what's happened.

I was so desperate at the thought of a purely evil person like Clinton getting into office, that I'd have welcomed a putsch or an asteroid strike as viable alternatives. But this is much better.

  11. I'll second that statement about feeling like you just got a terminal illness reprieve. I was working Tuesday night and on my way in I had to concentrate on breathing and trying to calm down.
I refused to look at the news until about 1am. I had people texting me wanting to know if I was watching. I put my phone up where I wouldn't see it
When I saw he was most likely going to win it was like I was weightless, I literally felt like it was the first time in weeks I could breathe.
Lol. I told someone before I left work that it was such a good feeling to be able to go to the store and NOT go back to the ammo counter to get another 2-3 boxes of something. I've got more of any 1 caliber than most people would shoot in 20 years but I've been buying quite a bit more lately, time for a break!
    Whew! Morning in America!

    1. River Rider said that now Trump was elected, he was wondering what to do with all the extra mags and ammo he had stocked up. I said, only partly in jest, that he might need them yet.

There was a lot of rioting in L.A., Chicago, and NY last night. I'm sure it was just a coincidence that those are strongholds of Occupy and BLM. Lots of serious problems on college campuses, where the Artsy Fartsy kids are offended that their champion was not anointed Queen.

People like us have put up with all that B.S. for a long, long time. Maybe it's the right moment in history for the man in the street to administer some attitude adjustment to these people. All it would take would be for one incident to take place in one city, where BLM and their ilk were met with the same treatment they like to dish out, and that would spread like wildfire. I can hardly see the police going to a lot of trouble to protect those scumbags, and justice is long overdue.

Who knows. Stranger things have happened.

It's good to see some positive developments after the last 8 years of pure, unadulterated rot and decay.

  13. Hi there Harry, congratulations to the good people of America from England. Most of us are so happy for you. You now have a chance to get your country back on the right track, which we are hoping to do here with brexit. You now have a president who likes Britain so maybe we can now get both countries great again. As for the whinging liberal left, we have plenty of them here too. They haven't stopped wailing about brexit yet, but now they are moaning about Trump as well. But who cares. Over here we have put up with the liberal left brain washing since the 1960's. It has got to the stage you can't say or do anything. It is stifling people.
My wife actually cried with joy yesterday when we saw the result that trump had triumphed. That is twice this year she has been emotional, brerxit and Trump. Hopefully the world is changing for the better.
God bless America and the UK.
    All the best to you

The British people showed real courage with Brexit, and now the people of the United States have done the same. Like you, we have legions of naysayers and leftists to contend with, but as in Britain, our whiners can't set back the clock.

Always good to hear from you, and I hope we have lots more good news to talk about in the immediate future!

  14. First job Trump has to do is veto every one of Obumer's executive orders, then empanel a prosecutor to charge the Hildabeast with treason, influence peddling, and collusion to murder.
The Trump win is a win for the little guy. I was no fan of Trump in the beginning but got on the wagon when the rest of the chaff was weeded out. The spell has been broken and it was a major kick in the nuts of the establishment fat cats in Washington and the media that have been playing us for idiots for so long. I am reveling in the tears of the liberals. And the republican party mooks have no one to blame but themselves that Trump will be cleaning house and flushing out the trash. We gave them congress 4 yrs ago and they did nothing to stop Obumers Marxist one world government agenda. Now it is time to drain the swamp. Trump himself may not be a true conservative but he has a panel of the highly recognized conservative intellectuals that have been advising him all along. Even if he only achieves 25% of what he promised we will still be ahead of the game and not subjugated to the will of moonbats who would sell us down the road to any despot with world rule aspirations under the false guise of multi-culti inclusiveness and left wing abject disregard for the principles of the constitution. I as many, feel a brutal burden has been lifted off my shoulders. For the first time in eight years I feel optimistic.

  15. That's well said, and I agree 100%. I will never forgive the Republican Party "good old boys" for trying to give the election to Hillary. They need to go, and I hope Trump runs his own show and marginalizes them completely.

I also hope he crushes the street trash with an iron fist. We don't need Morlocks attacking people, burning and looting, and getting away with it.

Like you, I have a lot of hope for the future. I think we may all have to take an active part of cleaning up the mess, and we may have more opportunity to do so.
