Quote of the Day

"One bleeding-heart type asked me in a recent interview if I did not agree that 'violence begets violence.' I told him that it is my earnest endeavor to see that it does. I would like very much to ensure — and in some cases I have — that any man who offers violence to his fellow citizen begets a whole lot more in return than he can enjoy."

"Anything that can happen, can happen to you." Pythagoras, 496 B.C.

The Islamic tide creeps closer to North Georgia.

I am about 45 minutes from the border with East Tennessee.   For the last few years, East Tennessee has suffered a huge influx of Moslem "immigrants."  It works like this. Eastern Tennessee is relatively poor. The only large city in that part of the state is Chattanooga.  Some years back, Moslems from the Middle East started  moving into Chattanooga in large numbers. They gained significant numbers of converts among the black population in Chattanooga.  The next step was sending out "teams" to look over small rural towns around the city.  They'd find a church that was failing (the population of eastern Tennessee is falling), and they'd buy the church and adjacent property. Then they set up a mosque, and a compound with living quarters and restricted access.
After that, it was all over but the crying for local people.

Islam is growing in America by leaps and bounds. It's not a benevolent religion, regardless of what the BBC would like to believe.

Yesterday in Sweden, two African immigrants were invited to a small party by a Swedish girl. They had long criminal  records, which she may or may not have been aware of.  Once at the party, the Africans beat one of the young men, broke his skull, and now he has brain damage. They raped a Swedish girl, and strangled another who tried to intervene.  The Swedish courts are considering deporting one of them.  I know people will think I made this up, so here's the full story for those who are interested.

African migrants brutally rape Swedish teen leave male friend brain damaged

I saw a news segment about this event on One America News yesterday.  The Kenyan in this story bragged about "killing a guy" and posted himself on social media laughing over the whole incident.  I did not see one single, solitary other story on this in the media, including Fox.  If I can  find the clip I'll post it, but so far I haven't seen it on line.

I'm a lot more concerned about these savages popping up in my location than I am about Kim Il Piggy and his missiles. People here are worried. We've already been through this evolution once, with the influx of tens of thousands of Hispanics in the late 80's.  Because of that we have a drug problem we didn't have before,  a massive crime problem directly attributable to the new "immigrants", and social problems in our hospitals, schools, and in some of our towns that just can't be solved.

We had the Latin Kings in Gainesville, Ga for years.  But MS13 came to Atlanta, and they are branching out. They have essentially annihilated the Latin Kings in North Georgia, and taken over their "action." People here are afraid of them, and they'd be fools not to be.

Things here are still "safe" if you stay home.  It's not all that safe if you don't.  My wife and I are just one couple, and we don't go out much. But in the last year, we've had that incident with the Goblins in Chattanooga,  another run in with narcotrafficantes out in the woods right near my property, and another problem on the road I haven't said anything about because it would be unwise of me to do so.

Listening to the scanner, the changes are obvious. There was a time when most of what you heard was cattle or horses out on the road.  No more.  Now it's much more serious incidents much of the time. Our county has hired more Deputies, and reinstated the town police force, which was disbanded for lack of need many years ago.  We've spent tax dollars on body armor and better weapons for our law enforcement. This is a poor county , yet there was no dissent I am aware of when these measures were decided on.

There are more gun stores in the tri county area than you could shake a stick at, and they are all doing a booming business (no pun intended.)   New housing developments here are fortresses. They build them on the mountain tops, one way in and out, with a massive gate and a guard house. Nobody is laughing about it as they would have just 20 years ago.

You can and you should be prepared to protect yourself.  But you have to have the tools to do so, and be ready to use them.  I have absolutely no qualms about doing that, but you also have to be careful, in today's America, to keep calm in a tight spot.  On your own ground, you will get a fair shake if you have to take drastic action. In any American city today, not so much.

I think anyone who doesn't go armed is asking for trouble.  Here's a segment about a young man who saw a woman being dragged off by a Morlock, and he intervened.  Unfortunately, he found out it takes more than the voice of sweet reason to deal with these subhumans.  He did the right thing, but it's a modern miracle he's alive.

The Same Thing has been happening here. Now, with President Trump, there's some hope.

  1. really the only answer is to snipe every ms13 and every obvious jihadist while deporting the others.

as to the scandinavian attack, why deport the criminals to rape elsewhere? jail forever in those countries, execution in countries which still have a brain and a beating heart.
never seen nations lie down and put their heads in the guillotine before. no coercion, just apathy.
we live in astonishing times, indeed..
    it would take an army.

  2. I wouldn't oppose rounding them up and sending them all to Liberia, or Chad, or some other wonderful and accepting place far from here. We are doing a better job of getting rid of the Hispanic illegals now. ICE is picking them up and deporting them in Atlanta left and right, and the local MSM affiliates are squealing like stuck pigs about it.

As for the Moslem immigrants, they're like termites. At first you don't notice them, but when you do, you better get the house fumigated in short order. If you don't, they'll eat away at it til it collapses. We've seen what multiculturalism has done here, and in Europe, in the face of an aggressive, hostile culture that doesn't assimilate, simply destroys the host. Like a fatal virus.

I think resistance to both threats is stiffening in both Europe and America, but I don't know if it will be strong enough to stop, let alone repair, the damage.

    1. resistance may be stiffening but will it be too little, too late?

    2. The main problem is an absence of leadership at the public level. The average individual is susceptible to the "frog in the slowly boiled water" syndrome. Until it touches them or someone close to them, they prefer to just turn off the news, not read the paper, don't listen to the radio. If you don't know about it, you don't worry about it. But that's a self defeating philosophy, because nobody is safe from the events taking place today. If anybody should be buffered from these things by time and space, it's me, but we are being impacted way out here in the mountains. It's much, much worse in the cities and suburbs. When your neighbors house is on fire, you should do something about it, but too many are not, just hoping the fire won't jump to their own house.

  3. It makes no sense to me to deport immigrant violent criminals. Hang them and they won't be back.

  4. It makes no sense to me either. But at least here, President Trump has now changed Blowjama's "catch and release" policy. Now, adults trying to come across the border illegally will be charged with a felony. The Blowjama administration had started phasing out commercial prisons, saying we didn't need them. President Trump has directed that we retain that capability, and that illegals convicted of a felony serve their sentences there. That's a huge improvement. In Europe, "deporting" the more murderous moslems has become popular. I watched a news segment with some Swedish politician being interviewed, and he whined that "we deport them but they refuse to leave! They should leave!" Pretty pathetic.

    1. what an idiot. obviously born without some essential equipment. maybe they perform a double orchiectomy on all boys at birth to keep their politics pure.
what other explanation could there be?

    2. Well, part of the problem is that people in some parts of Europe have been living with cradle to grave socialism since the end of World War 2. As a result, they expect everybody to toe the line and do what they are told. When they run into individuals who don't play by their rules, they are completely helpless.

    1. It aggravates me to death that all these things are happening now, and that we aren't being spared despite our obscure location. It's like people say. " You can run but you can't hide."

  6. Not only do we have Muslims and Illegals to worry about, but our legislatures are trying to take our gun rights so we can not defend ourselves. Here in Oregon they want the state police to be able to hold up a background check forever and make it almost impossible to get a concealed carry permit....all in the name of public safety (spit). As far as I am concerned, the liberal nutjobs are a worse enemy than the Islamic scum because they are the enemy from within. These people are demonized. Trump will be speaking to the NRA....that is hopeful.

    1. I saw President Trump was speaking at the NRA get together in Atlanta. The NRA supported him with funding, and the use of it's considerable political resources. Many of his grass roots supporters (like me) are NRA members. I feel confident he will not forget us.

I know the Left Coast is a hard place for conservative people to live. It's Cloud Coo Coo land, and reality doesn't matter as much as liberal dreams of the perfect society. One reason I stayed in Georgia after my who family wound up in Oregon was that I could not tolerate the pervasive stench of liberalism.

  7. Hey Harry,

    (captaincrunch)

One day the tide will turn. A global Crusade will start probably here on the North American continent sixty or seventy years from now after the fall of the United States. A crusade set up by Christian groups from some of the republics located in the former U.S. It will sweep through North America, then through Europe like Spanish forces driving the Moor's across the Mediterrean. History will repeat itself.
As per the gang members and Morlocks. A great many wont survive the upheaval of the U.S. breakup when the food stamps run dry and section 8 housing is burned down. I see a mass migration back over the border. A domestic ethnic cleansing. They will sow what the have reaped. This will happen long after I am dead of course many, many, many decades from now. 'Take heed, that their fate will be sealed because the tide of history will be repeated as the Indians were almost wiped out the gang members and Morlocks will suffer the same fate.

    1. A collapse would be a nurturing environment for the gangs, at least initially. They could take what they wanted, do what they wanted, without interference. If it lasted a long time, decades, then who knows!

What you are suggesting over the long term was the theme of an episode of the old Star Trek series from the sixties. Maybe "Cloud William" is out there, awaiting his time.

  8. Everyone in the U.S. who reads your blog should be armed. Those who live outside this country should train themselves in some form of self-defense. Krav Maga is a good place to start. If this isn't possible then carry some bear spray.

Me personally, I conceal carry most places...especially when traveling to cities. It's a different world now from the relative peaceful atmosphere I grew up in. It's very sad...that now folks like us have to adapt and overcome. We have no choice. --Troy

    1. Adapt and survive. I couldn't agree with you more, Troy. There are still a lot of people out there who don't get it. They are essentially good people, but they think they can "talk" their way through conflict. Someone once likened today's liberals with the Dodo birds the night after the first Europeans arrived. "Don't worry my dear, we shall peck them all to death in the morning"

  9. Harry-I had no idea things were that bad in Tennessee. I did not realize that so many Muslims had invaded that state. There is no where to run anymore. My grandson started college this year in Texas and was amazed at the number of muslim students. Jana

    1. Jana, Tennessee is popular, especially Eastern Tennessee, because the nut jobs, cults, sects etc can buy land very cheaply, and because there's a lot of empty territory there where they can do their thing without being observed. It's infested.

  10. Are Knoxville and the Tri-Cities not large populated areas? It is hurtful to hear us referred to as poor hillbilly types slowly circling the drain. I voted Trump and am a Nam vet so I don't offend as easily as a snowflake. There are lots of us here that are more than prepared. It is safer here than most of the surrounding area. I have followed your blog and enjoy it but am disappointed with these statements.

  11. I'm thinking in particular of Eastern Tennessee, because it borders on my area of Georgia. Knoxville is way up to the Northern part of Tennessee from where I am. Tennessee as a whole ranked 45th out of 50 states in per capita income in 2014, the last year I can find numbers for. Recently in Chattanooga, there was a big Moslem "rally" primarily Somalis, that made national news. I used to go to Chattanooga with my family for overnight minivacations back in the 90's, but it's a dangerous place now. I found that out for myself, first hand, on a trip there not so long ago.

If you drive through Eastern Tennessee out in the countryside, especially around Benton, (half way between me and Chattanooga) it looks like life is very, very hard. Dorthea Lange's 1930's pictures would fit right in. I'm not running down Tennessee, or Tennesseans. Being poor does not have any impact on a person's character that I ever saw. North Georgia is a poor region too, but there are good people here for the most part.
