Down the Rabbit Hole.
“Wyrd biõ ful ãræd.”
Harry enjoy your time with the family.
Hey, Rob. Thanks for the good wishes, and the same to you and yours. I hope you and your family have a good time up there in the wintry North. Maybe you will have a white Christmas this year!
I wish you all a blessed Christmas and New Year, Harry.
Gorges, thanks. I hope all of us have a better year next year than this one has been. At least it's ending on a good note, with Christmas. I've enjoyed your blog, especially some of the great memes you put up. Thanks.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Merry Christmas to you and your clan, Six Bears. Where ever you wind up this winter, I hope you have smooth sailing on your travels.
Hey Harry,(captaincrunch)I am glad you are doing ok. I read your previous post. I wont really be buying stuff anymore either. I have what I need and a few things I want but yeah. The idea of my stuff being picked through by Christians and Commoners after my devise is horrifying. I just assume give everything away at some point to worthy individuals, except for what I can carry in two duffle bags and a backpack (the complement that I could stuff into my rack onboard the boat)I will seek out fellow Vikings and Barbarians and bestow my hoard onto worthy warriors. I have many knives, a spear, hatchets, and now a tomahawk. Anyone been watching 'Vikings' I thought the Islamic dinner was amusing and 'what to do with a Bishop:)
You ever read the "Conan the Barbarian" books, Captain Crunch? In the final one, he's old and King of Aqualonia. But he figures he's had a good run, abdicates in favor of his son, takes his old warriors gear and a small bag of gold, and rides off into the sunset. That's the way to go.I don't want people I don't know picking through my gear, either. Maybe I will just blow the barn in place and set off a sympathetic reaction in the ammo and powder supplies. People will think a volcano has erupted. ;-)I haven't been watching Vikings this season. I meant to, but it comes on at nine and I've been drifting off before then. I can watch it on Kindle, on the History Channel though. I should get started on it.
Merry Christmas, Joyeux Noël, Frohe Weihnachten , Buon Natale
Tim, well put. Same sentiments here, I hope you have a good Christmas up there. Would be nice to go out on a pier and watch the ships going in and out on Christmas ,just like in the song.
Merry Christmas Harry to you and your family. Jana
Jana, I hope yours is a good one too. I'm sure Christmas is big out there, as is everything else in your state. I've enjoyed getting your comments and our conversations via email. I look forward to another year of those.

Hey, Randy. I've enjoyed your comments and I appreciate your stopping by the blog. I sure hope this Christmas is a quiet and peaceful one for you and yours.
Merry Christmas to you and yours, too.
Tewshooz, thanks. I'll bet you folks have a good Christmas out there in the high desert. Maybe it will snow (but not enough to be a pill.) That's some spectacular countryside you live in. Nice place to celebrate Christmas, especially Christmas eve when you can go out and see the whole bowl of the heavens.
I LOVE the ferret Christmas art Harry!!! :) Merry Christmas to you and your family! I'm so happy I came across your blog, I consider you a great Blogging friend, learning so much from you and having wonderful conversations!! :) Wishing you peace and happiness and QUIET (lol) for your holiday and the new year!! It's my favorite.I hope you two have a good , happy Christmas and that the dogs all get something good in their stockings!I always enjoy your blog, for a lot of reasons but not least because it's always so homey and comfortable. That's hard to do on the internet but you sure manage it. I'm sure glad we got connected, Kymber knows how to pick a good blog!
Thank you! It's nice to know I can share that coziness across the unfeeling internet lol! Now if we can only find Kymber again...hope all is well there too.We just opened presents, Alex got me so many thoughtful gifts...he loved his too and the dogs got cookies and the cats got prosciutto..spoiled huh? My day is all about food and drink and watching the blizzard outside. It feels all so perfect right now! :) Enjoy your day! :)
Around here, Christmas starts on Christmas Eve and extends for 48 fun-filled hours. May yours be Merry and Bright!
THF, I think Christmas really, truly got started for me when I found out the kids could come visit. The wife and I went up into North Carolina doing Christmas shopping today. There was a terrific rain and wind storm going on, but it didn't matter. It was still a lot of fun. It's good your Christmas will be full of life. Helps get through the rest of the year!
Merry Christmas!!! I hope you have a blast with your kids that are now adults. Have a peaceful holiday.
Alissa, Christmas day here and all is well. I hope you and your family have a really nice day together, and that everything is peaceful and pleasant.
Harry, you and your wife have a great Christmas on the mountain!
Mike, many thanks and best wishes to you and yours. Cold here, but a good day to stay inside and just enjoy some Christmas movies and a good fire.
Merry Christmas and a happy 2018 to you and your family! Thank you for a great year of your blog.
Hilogene, I appreciate your kind thoughts. I'm hopeful 2018 will be a good year for all of us, and certainly this is a good Christmas here on the mountain. I hope everything is great for you and your family today.
Merry Christmas Harry! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Holiday.
Thanks, Glock Mom. I expect your family is having some good quality time down there on your country spread. Cold there this morning, as it is here, but that just makes it feel more like Christmas!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
Thanks, K. I'm sure you and your young family are enjoying the day together. Christmas is a special holiday for a family with young children, so I know you are all having a good day.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the mountains of Eastern Arizona, Harry.
Bob, when I was going to UNM, I always loved Christmas in Albuquerque. Lots of times, there would be snow and people would be burning mesquite in the fireplace. I used to go over to Bataan park, which was surrounded by little adobe houses, and just enjoy how nice everything was. The Southwest is a great place for the holidays.I hope you and your family have a really good, peaceful day.
Merry Christmas Harry! Hope you and the family are having a great time!
Navy91, there was snow last night on the freeway in Ohio and Kentucky, so the kids did not leave Cincinnati until this morning. But they will be here on Tuesday and we will have several days together, so it will be a great holiday anyway.Best wishes for a Happy Christmas to you and yours.
Merry Christmas Harry!
Thanks, Leigh. I hope Christmas down there on your farm went well. I can't think of a better place to celebrate Christmas than on a homestead like yours.
Hi Harry, I hope you've had a great time with the family and wishing you a 2018 full of love, peace and prosperity x
Thanks, Kirsty. I know you all had a good Christmas over in England, looks like the weather was perfect for Christmas there. You've had a great 2017, so much accomplished! I hope 2018 is as good to you and your family.
Hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
We did, Lisa. The kids finally got home, and we have been having a very nice visit. The sub zero night time cold weather and below freezing days we are having right now has put a damper on what all we can do, but we are still enjoying our visit.
Harry, I hope you and your Sweet Wife had an amazing Christmas with family. Happy New Year!!
Sandy, we still have the kids (it is Tuesday, Jan 2) but they leave to go back tomorrow. It's been a wonderful holiday season for us all.
I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and that you have a great new year!
Becca, our kids made it home finally, and though they missed Christmas day, we have had a wonderful visit. I hope things went well over there and you all had a good holiday too.
I am late for happy Christmas, sorry about that.Happy new year to you and your family Harry.
Yael, that's ok. The kids were late getting home, and missed Christmas eve and Christmas day, but we have had a wonderful visit with them. Today is Tuesday and they leave tomorrow to go back up North. Thanks for the good wishes.
You ok? Nothing since Christmas.
Yeah, all's well. Just dealing with bad weather, etc.
I'd have emailed, but I can't find one for you....
