    1. It met with mixed reviews but I thought it was worth watching. If nothing else, it may make people think who have not given the issue of keeping a few things around the house any prior consideration.

    1. Me too. If I have to go to the post office or court house, I leave my gear at home. Otherwise, I carry it.

  3. Not that I had high hopes for "American Blackout", but I could only stomach a few minutes of it. I just don't have the tolerance for BS like I used to, and the NatGeo channel seems to have some kind of BS generating department that's primarily tasked with producing idiotic shows. Or at the least, shows with idiots.

    1. It wasn't the best of fare, but I think the timing was intended to coincide with this big nation wide drill coming in November. Some of it was useful, even if it had some flaws.

  4. I was a bit let down as well and the ending was . . . disappointing. Okay though, I've seen much worse.

    1. I would agree with that. I could have gotten by without the college kids in the elevator, didn't see much point to that. The ending was lame but I guess they had to wrap it up.

  5. We don't have tv, so I can't watch these, but they do sound interesting!

    1. I forgot you didn't have tv. If it comes out on DVD (and most Nat Geo shows do, eventually) I'll buy it for my library. If you want to borrow it, I'll mail it to you.
