What ?

The news is saying a young woman with a child in the car bumped a stanchion on the road around the White House. The police started yelling, she tried to drive away, and they chased her.  At some point they pinned her car in and fired more than 10 shots into her. She died. She had no gun, no nothing.  Sounds to me like a person who went down the wrong road and panicked when the police started yelling and pulling guns.

The politicians are making speeches about the heroism of the police and gave the police a standing ovation.

Something about this reeks.

Maybe as more news comes out, we can get an idea of what really happened. One thing is for sure, I'm not taking anything that the "White House Spokesman" says for gospel.

  1. I really do hope it comes out in the wash that your thoughts were correct. And yes, something reeks...Two incidents in a span of a couple of weeks around Washington..hmmmmmm

  2. I wonder if we will ever know. If they shot down some terrified woman in a car with her child, the President and his lackies are not going to admit it. They'll put out some kind of cover story. Politicians are already coming out and making statements that this is due to the "shut down" which is nonsense. The Capitol police are working, and it was obvious today that there are plenty of them on duty.

  3. Wolf Blitzer is putting on a full court press on CNN to justify the shooting before anyone really knows what happened. His position is that if you don't obey the police instantly they are justified in shooting to kill. Sounds harsh to me. CNN is saying the woman who was shot and killed was black. If that is so, it will be interesting to see what Jesse has to say about it.

  4. This was just on our radio. They are saying that they haven't confirmed if the woman had a weapon and what she was doing there, they suspect she was a spy. They have confirmed that she has been shot dead! Crikey, I guess we will never know, especially if this was mistaken identity. That poor child having to witness such an horrific event...

  5. Well, I just watched the D.C. police chief give an interview. She really didn't say anything except the police performed "heroically." That term used to be reserved for soldiers who displayed great courage on the battlefield, or for firemen, police, etc who risked their lives to help people. But now, it's getting used so much it's a bit threadbare. So far as the news is telling us, she had no weapon. The police are saying that the car was a weapon so they were forced to shoot her. Especially with the feds, they are often "forced" to shoot people. They've been doing it awhile, Ruby Ridge and Waco stand out in my mind.

Well, even when they have done their investigation and come up with her being a mentally ill member of the Red Brigades or whatever, I'll take it with a grain of salt. The French used to say that someone "lied like a bulletin" referring to governmental news bulletins. We should say" lied like a government official or a newscaster."

  6. I don't know any details but..... I wonder if she was black and the cops were white and she was a democrat protesting the republican congress for shutting down her precious government would the story be different than if it was a white tea party supporter. Bottom line is we probably never get the true story.

    1. We certainly won't if it turns out they just blasted this person without cause. The government can rely on CNN, ABC, MSNBC and everybody else in media except Fox to help them cover it up. With Blowjama getting on the podium and attacking Fox at every turn, I wonder how long they will still have a broadcasting license.

  7. From what I been reading she is definitely Black. Supposedly a Dental Hygienist who worked in the CT prison system and had a history of mental illness.

Now why would they employ someone with a history of mental illness in a prison?

    Seems somehow wrong to me.

  8. "Mental illness" is getting to be like "shot trying to escape." It's a convenient way to dispose of inconvenient facts. Or people.

Jesse got really upset about Treyvon. But this would embarrass Barak, so I wait with some interest to see what the "civil rights leaders" and the "congressional black caucus" have to say.

  9. The only thing I have heard was that she had a history of mental illness. Soooo, that means she needed to be shot? I think maybe they just frightened her so that she tried to escape.

    1. CNN ran a story today saying they had to shoot her because she didn't obey the orders of the police and that justified killing her. I notice that the stories being put out by government apologists do not come close to matching what her family is saying.
