Maybe he's right.

I mentioned that it was suggested to me my blog was being hacked.  I ran "hacking blogger blogspot" on google and came up with these web pages.  There were many, many others.  It appears that an individual with a relatively minimal amount of computer savy can do a lot of unpleasant things if they want to.  I am still inclined to think this is a technical issue, but this is really surprising.  Hacking tools for everybody?

  1. What buttholes. It's time to backup my blog. I try to remember to do so weekly, but I'm off about a month.

  2. Harry you have to remember he (Guy Fawkes) is the face for the hacking group "Anonymous". While not proof in an of itself....there is a connection there.

Also, even if people don't who he is by name, they recognize that face as it was seen a lot during the "Occupy" protests.

I wasn't aware that you had more than one post to have gone missing..... so who knows.

    2. having blamed the hackers just now.... I had a comment disappear on this blog so it may be just technical.

    4. I have the damnedest luck. I never heard of "Anonymous" I just found that picture on line and it seemed to go with the post. Nor was I aware of any connection with the occupy thing. Well, if that is what the issue was maybe they'll just take their show on the road now that their logo is off the blog. I had a post disappear last week,( I think) and last night all three posts I did yesterday disappeared.

    5. Matt, I never heard of those guys. I just picked that picture off the net because it went with the post. Nor was I aware of any association with Occupy.

    6. Lisa from Two Bears Farm said Google has been having some issues this week. Maybe all this is just related to that?

  3. My guess is still a technical glitch. Not all that long ago my blog totally disappeared for almost two days. Stuff happens and blogger goes through issues more often than I would like but it's free and easy to use.

I have heard people complain about wordpress as well and have noticed a fair number of wordpress blogs start pushing for donations not long after they switch sometimes.

  4. Whatever it is, I hope it settles down. If it was hackers with a grudge because I used that picture, the picture is gone now. If it is technical, maybe Google will get it fixed.

  5. I signed on with the wrong password so some of my comments had to be deleted and reposted using the right password, and they got out of order.
