Eric Holder Resigns.

Eric Holder has resigned.  He is not finishing out his time at the "Department of Justice", and there's a good reason for it.  Looks like the Republicans may take control of the Senate in the next election. That means Obama has only until the end of the lame duck session (December of this year) to get a replacement confirmed by the Senate. After that, if the Republicans are in control, no left wing, racist, morally impaired individual will get through the process which means Obama can't have his choice for Attorney General.  Holder absolutely has to be the worst, most reprehensible Attorney General the U.S. has had since Clinton got Janet Reno into the job.  If you don't remember that reign of terror, count your blessings.

    2. Those were the days when you really did have to worry about the government sturmabteilung kicking in your door and murdering you. That was an iconic picture but as time has passed, fewer and fewer people remember the actual event.

  3. The thought of Trey Gowdy in that position sort of makes me smile. Never happen, but it is fun to think about.

    2. I almost had an epileptic fit at the thought of that. But he'd still have to get him confirmed before the election (assuming Republicans take over the Senate) and Holder has said he will stay in his current position until his replacement is confirmed, so it gets murky.

  5. Word has just come down that a judge has ruled that ALL documents on the Fast and Furious affair are to be released next Wednesday and it looks real bad for Holder. Smells to me like Barry might suddenly need to clean house and throw his lackeys under the bus.

    3. That would be great if the White House doesn't find some way to stall. I wouldn't want to be that judge, I feel a robbery / murder with no clues might be in the offing for him if he doesn't change his name and move to Tahiti.

  6. Hey Harry,

    (captaincrunch)

I'm real happy Holder will be hitting the highway' he should be hanging in prison with his homey's.

I would say Holder was not as bad as Janet Reno. I say that because Janet had, Waco, Ruby Ridge, and a few other hotpots.

When Holder had the "Bundy Ranch' he and the fed's backed down (which was the smart thing to do) seeing it would have caused a national outrage.

Holder was a corrupt, evil, racist individual, however Janet Reno taught us lessons on 'how much the attorney general could get away with' and how we can never let that happen again.

    1. Reno was truly terrifying. Holder is just a big mouthed, stupid, pretentious , racist a**h**. The sooner he is gone, the happier everybody who believes in the constitution should be.

  7. Hey Harry,

    almost forgot,

I real happy about that Mosin I got. I was unaware of the production problems in the 1920's. It would make sense since Stalin was making the Ukrainians die by the millions.
I gotta read up more on 1920's Russia.

All I gotta say is that is why we have a 'Second Amendment' is too keep shit (pardon my French) like that from happening over here.

If most Americans would just study history books and study how many people have been murdered by their own goverments in that 20th century alone, then maybe most Americans would vote and vote for better candidates and not allow current politicians to get away the crap they are getting away with.

Sorry boys. Had to toss that in.

    2. That is good news, Scooney.

I don't see how they could find a worse attorney general even if they just went down on skid row an nominated the third bum they met. I'm willing to take a chance that whoever comes next has to be better. Hope springs eternal....

  12. I agree with above, the worst AG since Janet Reno by far. I've never seen such contempt of law by a law enforcement individual presented as Eric Holder did. Good riddance!

  13. Hey Harry,

    (captaincrunch)

Don't mean to keep harping on the Mosin again, but I did some research on the net and the rifle I was Tula Manufactuer and as I understand it all rifles made thru 1927 (mine) and 28,29 were reworked "Dragoons"

The first real manufactuer of the new Mosin Nagant 91-30's was in 1930 which only 152.000 were made at the Tula plant. I have that 1930 Hex receiver, that's the one with the site that shoots three feet high (I still love it though)

One day when I am old maybe I will adopt two ferret's and name one "Mosin and the other "Nagant:)
