Weasel mom marshals family in escape from "stranger."

The fellow who took this video thought these were wild ferrets apparently. They are in fact weasels, closely related but a different species.

  1. Looks to me like that weasel mom takes better care of her kids than some humans do theirs. My area has had a rash of horrific crimes against kids lately, many of which are perpetrated by their parents. Never, ever will I understand that.

    1. There's always one in the family that has to have extra care, human or other species.

I know I will start to open a can of worms for what I am about to say but I wanted to clarify this is about censorship, political correctness run amok and a misunderstood symbol.

I ordered a Confederate flag yesterday.

I really have no need for a Confederate flag. I don't hang flags out in front of my house. I don't even hang an American flag on holidays and what not out in front of my house.

Yeah' there's a lot of Southern Heritage in my family and this and that. We always have been rebels of one sort or another.

I just wanted an Confederate flag because some people say I cant have an Confederate flag.
Hillary Clinton said that flag should not fly anywhere. Thanks Hillary. Now you are stimulating the Confederate memorabilia market just like Obama stimulated the gun industry.
Back in 2008 I just assume buy another surfboard than a rifle until some people came out bashing the Second Amendment.

Now lets get something straight. Anyone that thinks I am a white supremist is full of shit (putting it bluntly) Most of my neighbors are Hispanic, Mexican, whatever. There's a black guy and his wife and kids living in a rent house next door to me. We talk a lot. He's a good guy. He drives a delivery truck for a job and his wife works at a bank. His wife is white, again no big deal. He takes care of the rent house, mows the lawn, etc. etc. Just normal people, good neighbors.

I got this Confederate flag only because some people said I should not own a Confederate flag. Its like owning a copy of Mien Kopf, Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto or The Satanic bible (none of which I own anyway) If you ban one book anyway, you may as well ban thousands of books.

I don't like Censorship. I will rebel against Censorship and political correctness. Conforming to societies views is un-American in my opinion.

No, I will not display or hang the Confederate flag out in front of my house. I don't display any flags, even the Texas state flag and the Texas 'Come and Take it flag" both which I consider sacred. My reasons are about security and keeping a low profile.
Now on the other hand since I live on the Texas Coast, maybe a Pirate flag would be nice (funny, a Pirate flag on a house 300 years ago would get you hung) Now that was a universal symbol of hate, looting, rape and pillaging, slavery and banditry (now Pirates are cool)

'Just to be fair. The American flag in most places around the world has become the symbol of oppression, hate, influence and surveillance and nationalism run amok.
We are moving from one boogey man in the Persian Gulf to another in Russia so we can keep the military industrial complex well funded (actually, the Isis Boogey man is the real threat)
I am more embarrassed by my own countries behavior than that of some lone dirt bag who had no friends, no life, no brains and shot up a church in South Carolina just because he wanted attention (I'm sure there is a special place I hell for people like that and I hope politicians and bureaucrats get the same treatment)

    1. CC, I have been watching this B.S. in South Caroilna with increasing fury. I decided not to write about it, in keeping with the new guidelines I set myself over the past few weeks. Suffice it to say my Confederate Flag isn't' coming down, and anybody who wants to take it down can kiss my derriere.

I heard a black "reverend" say on Fox News that "some people think they can say what they want to without responsibility but we gwain to change that." That pretty well sums it up for me.

Thank You for allow me to write about the Confederate flag thing. I understand that you were trying to focus away from certain things and I respect that.
I tried to write about this with the intent of this becoming a form of censorship which is a very dangerous thing and becomes a slippery slope.
I support your First Amendment right to fly the flag of your choice.

One thing I would like to say too is don't let things like this disgust you too much.
That flag has been around since 1865 and its ain't going anywhere. A great many people now have woken up to whats happening and are supporting the Confederate flag regardless of which way cultural winds blow.
That flag will be around, long, long after we are dead.

One question. Do you reside in part of Appalachia. I read in interesting guest article on Appalachia written by 'Old Remus of the Woodpile Report" on one of the other blogs out there. I guess political correctness does not go over well up in those hills to well.

    3. CC, the mountains of North Georgia are the Southern end of the Appalachians. They're also called "The Blue Ridge Mountains" and "the Smokey Mountains." You'd only have to be here on a hot summer afternoon to see where the appellations come from.

If I got started on the Confederate flag, I wouldn't be able to stop. My great great grandfather,as I've said before, fought in the 54th Georgia Infantry regiment from start to finish. He did not own slaves, but the only people the war was about slavery for were the abolitionists and the slaves. Anybody who doesn't believe that needs to read some primary sources on the regiments from Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, et al who were furious about the emancipation proclamation. Since our own President has now decided it's ok to say "nigger" I can accurately quote the commander of one Union regiment, dispensing with the politically correct "n word" nonsense. He said " I joined this war to preserve the union, not free the nigger."

Now the left wing and the whiny pasty faced black person wannabees have desecrated Confederate cemeteries, defaced confederate monuments that have stood for over a hundred years or more, and defamed all rural southerners by saying because we honor our flag we are racists. Those low life bastards. I saw one newscaster say, eyes round with wonder, "it is still legal in some states for people to privately fly this flag." What the hell? What is that idiot talking about? But the low information herd, if they watch the news at all, will no doubt nod wisely at each other and remark how shocking that is. I'd like to cut their hearts out with a spoon and eat them.
