What Shrillery thinks of you and me.

Fall is nearly here.

It's cooler up here now.  Days still get into the ninety degree range, but at night it's down into the low sixties, and the humidity is not so high.

M and I have been staying home for the most part. We still go over to the lake and walk most days, usually early in the morning. The rest of the day, we stay up on the mountain.  I have refurbished several of the fire pits around the buildings, and sometimes I sit out by the fire in the early morning and the evenings. As it gets cooler I will do more of that.  I can listen to one of the radios if I want to, or just listen to the wind in the trees , the creek downslope, and the birds in the woods.

Percy is getting along fine. He seems to spend more time with the cats than he does with Spike, but then the cats like to play and Spike likes to sleep. Percy is a big, strong ferret and he can "battle" with the young cats and hold his own.

Yesterday was E's birthday. We sent her the DVD of the mini-series, Shogun, and a copy of the book. She's very interested in everything Japanese, and has never seen the movie.

  1. . . . and she wonders why her poll numbers aren't better than they are. Hillary is a disaster waiting to happen.
I'm not a fan of loud mouthed big city rich guys either. Hell of an election year. Really paying attention to the individuals running for the other offices this year. It's important we get some quality somewhere.

I see the new magazines are out. Later in the week I just might get the chance to go to an actual bookstore. I like the concept of simplifying for survival so I'll keep a lookout for that one.

    1. Things could get worse, I guess. But not much worse....

I haven't been to a book store in a long time. Since I stopped going to Chattanooga because of the Goblins, there really aren't any within driving distance.

  2. Had Trump said such a thing of Hitlery's supporters, the media would be all over it and we'd never hear the end of it. Instead since it is their god, it's; "move on, there is nothing to see here". If today Trump walked on water, tomorrow the headline would read; "Trump can't Swim".
    Lest we forget the significance of today;

    1. CAN News had a segment this week on an independent poll that showed Shrillery and Trump were now even. The talking head was quick to point out that the Dims are ahead in the big ticket electoral states. Trump could win the popular vote but it wouldn't matter because the"fly over" states where Trump has so much support don't have the electoral votes. They don't matter. That is the Dim stategy and it may work.

  4. Harry - I don't envy any US citizen come November. From where I sit on this planet, and from what I've read, neither candidate is going to be of any benefit to the US of A. I hope those involved knew what they were doing when these two were selected. Time will tell...

    1. Trump will at least try to stop the rot. He knows that illegal immigration is hurting this country in many ways that matter. He knows that letting Moslems into this country is a disastrous mistake that will eventually ruin us as it has ruined the European countries. Trump is not a polished, well oiled politician and it shows. His nature is not perfect, but he would at least give us some hope.

Hillary Clinton is a self seeking narcissist who cares not one whit about anything but money and power. Barack Hussein has done more damage in eight years than all the other Democratic Presidents combined. If she gets elected, we are finished as a nation.

People here are sick of being told who their candidates will be by the oily politicians who run the two parties. Although I thought Bernie Sanders was a laughable clown, I could understand why so many supported him. Almost everyone here that bothers to inform themselves know we are tottering on the brink, and can't afford another machine politician President of either party. I don't know what will happen. But I do know if Clinton wins it will be more of the same Obama idiocy. At least Trump offers some hope.

  5. Hey Harry,

    (captaincrunch)

I think hillery's latest remark will hurt her and gives Trump a whole new mess of ammo to use against her campaign.

As time of this writing video's on youtube are popping up everywhere of hillery's fainting spell at the 9/11 memorial.

The Dem's picked a lame horse.

    The Kennedy victory......

Remember in 1962 I think it was when JFK debated Nixon live on Television. Nixon was tired and looked like he got ran over by a truck and Nixon did not have his notes in order I believe nor did he know how to speak in front of camera and that cost Nixon the election.

Hillery's health concerns will be the 'silver bullet' in the heart of her campaign. A strong energized senior citizen is one thing, but a wore out old crone who's mind does not appear to be all there is another.

I am seeing one disaster after another on the hillery campaign. Soon WikiLeaks will do their major dump on hillery. Hillery reminds me of Germany in the latter half of the War War 2 in Europe (1944) with the allied forces converging on Germany from all directions. The war was already lost at that moment. Hitler dragged Germany (and himself) into suicide.

I dare say at this moment as it was in 1944, that hillery stands to lose if this momentum for Trump continues. This gives me hope. I watched as oboma's campaign at this time in previous elections was energized and had full momentum. A juggernaut that had no equal.

In 1980 the smart money was on Carter. The under dog Reagan came up from behind and had an epic landslide election that changed history. I think it may be possible that 'Trump's' brand name may carry the election in November and may even carry it to a landslide victory.

Frederick Neithze said once that 'Where there is life. There is hope' if I recall correctly.

Yeah' 'Trump could still pull this one off but make no mistake. We are beyond the event horizon. Trump will slow down the decay but at some point, the decay will achieve its goal.

    1. The Dims have a point about the electoral system. The big ticket states are largely blue, and growing more so with every illegal Hispanic who sneaks in, or every Moslem the Dims can import. Trump won't win New York. He won't win California . He won't win in the Pacific Northwest. He has a chance in Texas. He has a chance in Ohio, but not in New England. Probably not in Minnesota or Wisconsin. I think it's entirely possible he will win the popular vote and lose the election. But I agree with you, it's futile to just give up in despair.

There are a lot of low information voters who couldn't tell you which President came before their beloved Black Jesus, and those folks are going to come out and vote for Shrillery, no matter what happens.

Maybe she will have a heart attack or stroke, but my personal opinion is that she is going to be around no matter what happens.

  6. That anyone would actually vote for someone who so blatantly lies, cheats and steals tells me there are lots of folks who will sell their souls for "free stuff." I'm with Troy. Proud to be in that basket of deplorables.

    1. The Dims are the party of entitlement. Bread and circuses for the mob. They know the drill, and they know how to import more Hispanics and Moslems to fill the ranks of their party in states like mine. Given the fact that a lot of people on our side are going to cut off their noses to spite their faces this time around, I am not very sanguine about our chances.

    1. If she fell over and couldn't run, I would consider a miracle from heaven. Something like that might be our only chance. On the other hand, it would be absolutely certain that the Dim mob would blame conservatives and the conspiracy theories would make those of the past seem tame.

  9. So, now Shrillary has pneumonia. Guess her doc figured that diagnosis wouldn't scare people off. Funny that we never knew about the pneumonia until today. Such lies!!!
I am proud to be such a deplorable person. Of course, she would know all about being deplorable. Good to see you posting again Harry. Enjoy your beautiful weather. Jana

    1. Jana, I think she has a lot more health issues. American politics has a long history of concealing health related items about politicians from the public.

I've been a little busy and a bit tired, so I haven't been blogging much this past couple of weeks. I need to check my email accounts, I'm sure I owe some people some emails too.

    1. We're in deep kimchi here. Clinton is our worst nightmare, following onto 8 years of Obama the Idiot. Trump isn't perfect but at least he doesn't actively advocate doing things that will make our situation worse, like importing tens of thousands of Moslems who will sit on their collective asses and draw welfare for the rest of their lives, if nothing worse.

It's a "right pot mess" as you folks say over there, sure enough.

We hit ninety here yesterday, but the humidity is down. The trees are starting to change, but I am not sure if it is because fall is coming, or because of the drought.

  13. It's a nice time of year to sit and reflect. Yesterday I was swinging on the porch swing and a hummingbird landed on my wind chimes, the feet away. We just sat and watched each other for a moment before he chirped and flew off.

    1. We have hummingbirds here, too but I rarely see them as the chickens long ago destroyed all the flowers that the hummingbirds came for.

I am trying to spend more time outside, at least until the really cold weather gets here.
