Maybe I should get a Hillary sticker in case I need to go near a city?

If you haven't seen the news stories about what these four did to a disabled white teenager, whom they kidnapped and then tortured for days, you should look it up on youtube. Being the intelligent young black persons they are, they streamed the whole event on the internet. So you can see them cutting this kid, scalping him, beating him and all the while you can hear them yelling "F**k that M**F**er Trump" and "kill dim white peoples".  Naturally enough, there was great concern in Chicago, where this happened, over whether or not to charge these "young people" as adults, and whether or not this qualified as a "hate crime." Much rending of garments and wringing of hands. Now, if the case were reversed, and four "white youths" kidnapped a black teen and did this, all the while shrieking "F**k Obama" and "Kill those n*ggers!" I don't expect there would have been much discussion about the hate crime issue.

My kids tell me that the pit bull is the house pet of choice with the young couples and single people who live in their apartment complex in the city where they work.

The trouble started with the city renting apartments in that complex for "the underprivileged." Some of those people had issues with the "old hood" crowd. Bad things started happening.

The apartment complex put in an extensive gated security system. But the "new residents" gave out the key code to their buddies.

The cops came and rounded up some of them who weren't supposed to be there, and hauled them off.

Immediately, "de brudda's" started driving into the complex and firing weapons into the buildings, and there were some serious attacks on residents.

My kids are moving out. They are transferring to Nashville. I told them that they are going out of the frying pan into the fire. They assure me the new office is in "a nice location" and "a nice part of the city."  I pointed out the expensive apartment we rented up there was very nice when they moved in, but the area has gone to hell and it will happen again in Nashville. And it will....

One of those artsy channels that Direct TV likes to fill up the channel list with has been showing a black produced, black approved movie called "Menace II Society ."  I watched it.  The movie purports to be based on the life of a black teenager in "de hood."  After seeing it, I'm ready to move to Switzerland.....

I mean, I'm not naive about this kind of thing, but if this is a true depiction of what it's like to live in the hood, and of black "hood" culture, all I can say is "Jesus!"

If you robbed a corner grocery, and shot the clerk for no reason at all, and then shot him several times as he lay on the ground, would you then steal the security camera video tape so you could play it for your buddies back in "de hood" while you all smoked crack?

I don't know.   I think my decision to stay the hell out of Atlanta and Chattanooga, or any place like them, was a good one. I didn't even have a clue how good at the time.

My kids bought a German Shepard. That's so they can go out to the garbage dumpster at night and have a chance of getting back to the apartment.......

I hope this passes.  Right now I can drive almost all the way across country without worrying as my state has reciprocity with most, but this bill would make it easier.

Still no sign of any proof the Russians were involved.  McCain and Graham are running a little dog and pony show with the Dims in D.C. , all staged and precoordinated, trying to make people think they were.  Julian Assange said this week they definitely were not his sources.

But the beat goes on:

I found two boxes of CCI 22 LR HP, 100 rounds per box, for $7.00 a box . First .22 LR I have seen in the county that was not ridiculously priced. Maybe the drought is over in that regard.

Snow coming in tonight. Supposed to snow tomorrow, then Saturday and Sunday will be in the low teens to single digits. Don't guess I will be going anywhere til the middle of next week. Suits me. I've pretty much been up here on the mountain for almost two weeks now, and it's been pretty nice.

    1. You know, I used to hesitate even to use the word "black" because to do so , in virtually any context, was to immediately be swamped with comments telling me what a racist I was and I got tired of it. But these days, with BLM running roughshod over the justice system, and incidents like this being so common they are just "routine" I don't really care what the snow flakes think. I got a sanctimonious response to the post from a Hillary worshiper , piously saying that I should ask myself why these poor, downtrodden, dregs of society do this kind of thing. I know why. Because these particular individuals are just one cut above animals and that's giving them the benefit of the doubt and insulting animals at the same time. I would really like the person who sent that comment to enjoy being cut, scalped and beaten by Morlocks. Maybe his white guilt problem would be somewhat assuaged if he got that treatment.

    2. There's an old saying something along the lines of a liberal is a liberal until they get mugged, and then they become a conservative.

My friends back in Chicago are having a discussion over where the city's unofficial name should be changed from "Chiraq" to "Chicongo".

  2. Isn't Nashville a lot closer to you? That's something, right?

    $7/box is cheap now? I haven't bought .22 in a long time.

By the way, my inside source in the gun industry doesn't see any slowdown. They are pushing him to get out new product on an emergency basis.

    Interesting times.

    1. Nashville is much closer. But it's no less dangerous than where they are now, in my opinion, and they are moving specifically to get out of the "danger zone."

$7.00 a box is a good price. A brick of .22LR (which is the only way they would sell it) was $87.00 last time I checked at the general store, the only place in the county that had it. That would be more than twice as much.

      Yes, these are interesting times.

    2. I bought a lot of bricks back when the price was much much lower. Glad I did. Thought it was crazy when a brick went to $25.

  3. I haven't yet dared to watch that video of those savages. Not sure I can stomach it. At least Nashville is a little closer to you. Any major urban area you go to these days you will have the same problems though. We are having the similar ghetto creep problems here in Portland Maine. And being a bit incapacitated by my recent spinal surgery I am feeling a bit more vulnerable than usual.

I wouldn't watch the video. I first saw it on a news program which was bad enough, but it's a lot worse on youtube.

I'm thankful I live so far from any city, but we are getting these issues up here and have been for some time. When the new road to Atlanta was opened some years back, a bunch of inner city Morlocks from Atlanta drove up here, broke down the door of the only drug store in town, and robbed it the first day the door was open. Thanks, Zell Miller, that new road has really been a blessing. NOT!

  4. Recently ran across your blog and have been dropping by occasionally for the last couple of months. While reading this post I saw your mention of staying out of Atlanta and Chattanooga and figured I'd say hello to a neighbor. I'm in North Georgia and too close to Chattanooga for my liking but I'll have to deal with it for now.
Anyway, hello neighbor and I hope your 2017 is a great year on your mountain.

    1. Rob, if you are where I think you are, you really are close to Chattanooga. Half the people who work at the hospital in that county commute from the city to your town. Won't say where I think you are located, of course.

I hope 2017 is better than 2016, that's for sure.

  5. 1- Agree with 6 bears. My very rough math says Nashville is closer to you which is good.
2- As to .22 I need to hunt around for some CCI Mini Mags because one particular little .22 pistol is only reliable on that stuff. Thankfully it's not a gun you would shoot a lot so 200 rounds would be a solid SHTF supply and 500 a lifetime supply. Guess I'll look around online.

    1. Nashville is closer, but it's just as crime ridden as where they are now. I'd prefer a city in Florida (not Jacksonville) but somewhere like Palm Coast. Trouble is, they'd have to commute to get to keep their jobs, and there aren't any offices in Palm Coast...

I don't worry a whole lot about .22 ammo. I have been buying if for years, here and there, and have a lot stashed away. And as you say, it's not something that you are going to use a lot of.

Troy, I guess I was hoping to hear less of this kind of thing in 2017, but Trump is not President yet, and Black Jesus is completely out of control, going high and right with his little black ink pen. Things won't get any better until that worthless son of a bitch is out of power. Then it will take Trump a long time to start turning the ship of state. But at least there's hope.

  7. I hope the Reciprocity passes! We need it to protect ourselves…

I finally took my “Hillary for Jail 2016” bumper sticker off my van because I just didn’t want a knife stuck into my new tires!

It’s sad that the Democrats have become the party of violence and socialism and the other ½ of the voters don’t see this or understand the issues we will face from the sub-human Democrat voters. We Patriots must now arm ourselves (CC) and be extremely vigilant of our surroundings when entering or leaving the stores to get to our cars in the parking lot.

    1. Mike, well said and entirely true. I got a comment from some snowflake idiot implying that the incident in Chicago was justified because it was perpetrated by blacks. All those mental deficients, who felt like that before the election, are still out there and still feel that way. Life is not automatically going to get better, it will take time. I just didn't want to think about that aspect of it.

  8. Friends of mine put bumper stickers on magnetic sign material so they can swap out the stupid sayings of the day. You might consider doing some 'camoflage' using this method.

As to Nashville, yeah, not the greatest, but on the other hand, it is closer and it is Tennessee with those great Tennessee gun laws (unlike what you'll find in most northern states.)

    1. Nashville has a well deserved reputation for black on white violent crime. Of course, things are getting so bad where the kids are now that they could hardly be worse off.

My kids have Georgia carry licenses and live in a state which has a reciprocal agreement with Georgia, but we had to get their licenses renewed while they were down here, as we'd let them expire.

I have a Confederate Flag bumper sticker and an NRA bumper sticker on the Jeep. As long as I don't go to Atlanta or Chattanooga, the only cities I could see myself traveling to, I should be ok.

We got 3 feet of snow and DH still digging us out with the tractor. Since I discovered Prime Pantry and Jet.com I don't have to go to the city anymore. Interesting times, eh?

Sleeting like hell here right now, and supposed to change over to snow at dusk. I didn't even take the jeep down to the hard surface road to leave it like I usually do with a snow coming on. I just don't plan on leaving til I can drive out. Should be able to get out by Wednesday next, they say it will warm up by then and melt the snow.

I think I would probably go into town sometimes even if I didn't need anything, just to get out a bit.

  11. I was going to call them animals except that animals don't torture just for the fun of it. I know there have always been low life types around, but it just seems like we are up to our hips in them lately. I will never understand how anyone can think it is ok to hurt someone for no reason - especially someone who is vulnerable and unable to defend themselves. I am glad to hear your kids are moving closer to home. I don't think any urban area is safe any more, but perhaps it won't be as bad as where they were.

  12. I saw the parts of video from TV News. It cuts out the worst parts of course. Any time now, I expect to see white crowds blocking highways, beating black innocents they come across, burn property and claim they are being discriminated against.

It isn't the racial aspect that bothers me. Haters got to hate. Its the victim diminished mental capacity. What kind of animal thinks what they did to him was 'getting back to Whitey ?'. That poor kid has done nothing to deserve that kind of treatment.

    1. There was a similar incident in Chattanooga, some years back. A young white couple was kidnapped, tortured, the girl was repeatedly raped, then they were burned alive. The culprits were a group of 8 blacks. None of them got the death sentence.

This is a lot more common than most believe, but it usually doesn't make it to the national news level so people don't hear about it.

    3. They have been able to get away with just about anything for the last eight years. I'm hopeful we can get some law enforcement on these individuals and start putting them away forever once Trump takes the reins.

At least the atmosphere where a person who act in self defense is automatically branded a racist will start to erode. Right now, if four thugs beat an older person to death, it's not news. If an older person defends himself and blows them away, then it's liquor store burning, street blocking, "Gentle Giant" B.S. time again.

    1. The Chicago city government has now acknowledged that the incident "should be investigated" as a hate crime. The problem is that the victim was white, and white people are not a protected ethnic group, while blacks are.

Yes, they put video of themselves torturing this kid out on a Facebook feed, and it got picked up and went on Youtube. Really intelligent individuals,as you can tell from their mug shots.

The kids are doing well and it was a joy to have them come down. The family is complete again whenever they are here.

  14. Stories I hear out of TN sound an awful lot like Charlotte. Memphis is ground central for HUDs idea of spreading around the poor people to better neighborhoods. Studies show that it works ok when the numbers are small, but a small proportion of trouble can go a long way toward ruining a neighborhood. The study admitted that 20% (of HUD folks, not bad actors) could be enough. That one grandmother with crack/meth addict grandson will generate a lot of break ins. Criminals, as other studies have shown, tend to stay close to their own neighborhoods, so if you move them out to the suburbs...

So while most apocalyptic tales go on about the gangbangers coming out of the central city, in most Southern Cities its one big mixed up sprawl that is not as easy to avoid.

Now the place is a ghetto. I could write a book on the way the quality of life has gone straight down the toilet since that happened. Nobody is going to pay $1200 a month for an apartment if the Ghetto Gang comprises the neighbors. My kids aren't.

After the Baltimore riots, I saw a youtube video by a black man in his late twenties who lived there. He really tore a strip off the rioters. A very articulate individual. One thing he said that resonated with me. He was talking about the punks who beat up the white girl on the street, and then beat up her white boyfriend when he tried to protect her. He said something to the effect that these guys could prance around bragging about how bad they were, but that there were white men out there who were a lot different than the city sheeple, who had guns, and who were getting really tired of this s**t. "when you make those mad enough and meet them, you're going to be talking out the other side of your a**" was how he closed it. I agree.

    Glocks work best on Gargoyles.

if there are many gargoyles. Pull out a rifle with a 30 rnd mag.

Move to Iceland. Gargoyles don't like extreme cold weather. Buy a Parka, drink Vodka and learn to love whale meat. Iceland's a nice place. Mexicans can not run, jump nor can they swim across the North Atlantic, no ice backs allowed.

To be perfectly blunt. Your kids will not learn until something serious happens to them or someone they know personally to convince them city life is bad life. Maybe one day when old age sets in, they will return to the small town life. I have seen that happen quite a few times.
