Sandy and Bull Dog Man got a new homestead. It looks perfect! Got a Trump sticker on your vehicle?

Link to Sandy and Bulldog Man's blog.

I just wanted to post this link. They are really good people, and have just bought themselves what looks to be a perfect retreat.

On a not so happy note, here's a video a friend sent me.  It shows a "brudda" whipping out his rifle on a "white boy" who had a Trump sticker on his vehicle. Typical Niglish language, but even so it's worth watching. A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes.

Update: Let me reemphasize for the Ladies, this guys language is very foul.

Based on personal experience, these guys don't value the free and open exchange of views.

This video above makes me think about my own procedures. Notice the white guy who's truck was vandalized had already left it and was a good ways from the vehicle. So, in my case, I could not have reached the Heckler und Koch G-3 rifle behind the drivers seat in my Jeep.

If this had happened in Georgia, the driver would have been legally protected if he pulled his hand gun and shot the black guy waving around a rifle and vandalizing his truck, because he was threatened with physical harm and because his property was being damaged.

There are some real life issues to think about though:

You might not be able to reach under  your vest and get the gun out before Rastus sprayed you with the rifle. And even if you did get it out, you couldn't shoot him in the back. Not that I personally would have any moral compunction about doing so in that situation. It's the safest course of action.  But if he's standing there with his back to you trashing your truck, you are going to have to get him to turn and face you. And he might spray you in doing so.

However, if you don't do that,  some shyster D.A. might try to knock a hole in the "stand your ground law" by saying  "Oh, yes, Mr. Mapopoo did have a rifle and did threaten you, but it is obvious from the fact that he was not facing you when you fired that he was not a threat at the moment." In a city, you can bet the farm  they'd try to charge you with something, regardless of the circumstances. The "shooter" would be white and the "victim" would be black. That's all she wrote.

You could probably beat the charges, because our castle and stand your ground laws are very explicit, but you'd be bankrupt and you would have stressed ten years off your life. You'd also have to watch your back every second for the next few years.

Besides that, I don't carry a round chambered unless I am actually in an area where the Goblins and Morlocks are common. I'm beginning to rethink this though. It only takes a second to rack the slide, but that might be enough of a delay in getting the pistol into battery that you might get killed.

In the interim, thank God I can stay out of areas where this sort of thing is becoming more and more common.

Thought for the day.

  1. i guess i'm getting old and crotchety(is that a real word?i've heard it all my life, lol) but when the ar came out i'd shot him in the face. i just can't stand to have a gun pointed at me any more, even cops. i've told more than one to get it out of my face before i shove it up his butt and pull the trigger. no call for that. we have to stand up to these thugs at some point. yeah, i know i'd be in court for the next ten years but like i said, i'm getting old and crotchety, and i guess i just don't care any more.

    1. I feel like you do to a large extent. There would be far less of this kind of behaviour if there were more salutary shooting of trash like this. But I have a pretty good life, and I don't want to be drained of every penny by the shysters.

My wife and kids would be furious if I got us all embroiled in a "Trevon" gig. And I know when I was younger I would have blown him away the instant the rifle came out of the truck. Now, though, I don't want to put up with the aggro. Maybe I'm turning into a moral coward. I worry about that, I kid you not.

  2. That video right there is the perfect example why it makes no sense to go in to large urban areas. Where are the police when you need them. You know if you or I had been waving a rifle around like that in public we'd be in trouble in two seconds flat. Just this week we had one dimwit druggie in Portland who bought a BB gun in a pawn shop and walked out the door and started playing Rambo in the parking lot of the strip mall threatening people with it. Folks could not tell if it was a real gun or not. Cops were called and made him assume room temperature. The cop that plugged him took another parasite out about a year ago too. Now a few moonbats are calling foul claiming it was racial discrimination.

    1. I cannot, for the life of me, see why anyone would be a police officer in today's America. The work is hard, depressing, and dangerous. The pay is meager for what you are asked to do. And half the population is going to hate you no matter what you do. Rescue a baby from a fire and you will be accused of child abuse.

I'd have been tempted to plug that black guy, take the rifle, and just drive off. It looked like a nice rifle. Also, he might have had some gold teeth.....

  3. don't worry about it.
'the wise man hides himself in time of trouble.'
    these are times of trouble.
also, as long as there are no cameras, just leave the body and go home. no doubt the deceased criminal is already known to the police. they may assume it is inter-gang violence.

    1. "leave the body"... take the rifle and check for gold teeth first though.

It just feels wrong to change my habits out of concern I may run into Morlocks and have to deal with them. But my wife said it like this. Supposed you had been swimming in a nice pond for years, and one day a giant alligator showed up in the pond. Would you still go swimming?

Well, no. I'd shoot the alligator...

    4. you have to leave the gun so police can draw the 'correct' conclusions.

    5. If I had any choice at all, I would not wait around for the police. My dealings with them have always been counterproductive. Better to avoid them when possible.

    1. I hope you can hold out where you are. Since it's so desolute a place, you are probably safe. But here, that four lane road has cursed us, and the demographics have changed mightily since 1986. Then, the demographics were 99.7 percent white, and the remainder were Cherokee. It's not like that now, by a long shot.

  5. I don't think it is moral cowardice when the PTB have made it clear that they value some lives more than they value yours. If it is life or death, I will still pick me, but otherwise, I am all for avoiding the interaction.

    1. What we need to do is import some of those French vigilantes who are doing so fine a job on the trouble makers there. It must be said, though, that the French police are not averse to seeing some of these "refugees" get what's coming to them. As Michael observed in his comment, if we did any of that we'd be under the jailhouse. If I get pinned in with no other way out, then the laws here should cover me. Any situation where it's marginal, I'm going to try to avoid getting dragged into court if I can.

  6. I was doing some housekeeping in the published comments a minute ago. I had an individual come by that probably wouldn't be happy here. I posted one of his comments and he came back with another one that I didn't appreciate. It was the comments about bumper stickers, going back and forth. But in deleting those, I deleted the first comment on the post.

I don't remember the pen name of the fellow who left that first comment, but he did mention he enjoyed the blog in his last sentence. If that individual comes by again, sorry that happened, it was an accident. If you want to repost it, I'll be glad to see it.

    1. I'm sorry you took offense at my comments. I actually very much enjoy your blog and visit often, and this is the first time I commented.
I appreciated your candor in replying to my initial comment, and my followup was in no way meant to disrespect you or your opinions. I only meant to clarify the reasoning behind my first comment, and to explain further why I don't see things the way you do. If you took offense, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.

I didn't give adequate consideration to the context of your comment. The fault lies with me entirely and I am sorry I deleted your comments in retrospect. I hope you'll still participate in the conversations here and overlook my hasty actions.

    3. It's kind of ironic that my first comment was regarding rudeness and I was rude to you in my followup comment. I blame the Internet (or maybe Bush or global warming); in a face-to-face conversation, my words would not (I hope) have seemed so rude.
Thank you for your gracious reply.

    1. If you are not willing not kill someone to protect your life, leave the class now.

    2. Always carry a round in the chamber. Period.

He demonstrated why, with his assistant...(Both LEO officers and ex military). He could not draw, rack the slide and "fire" before the assistant put several rounds into him. That was also knowing it was coming!

    I always carry "HOT".....no exceptions.

And I do like your blog!

    1. Hey, I'm really glad you were able to repost your comment. Didn't want you to think I deleted it intentionally.

I got a comment from a fellow who went to great lengths to express the fact that he didn't care what I thought or what my opinions were. That being so, I couldn't see any point in letting him on the blog. I made that mistake with people back on my old blog about 5 years ago, and I finally had to delete it because of all the people flaming everybody else. I keep a lot tighter control now. No trolls or people who can't express themselves without being unpleasant need apply!

  8. They say if you get in a fight (and by implication I think a serious confrontation such as this) you messed up.

Truck guy messed up by having lifestyle bumper stickers. Then he messed up by not leaving immediately when the crazy man started yelling about politics. Get gas or a snickers bar somewhere else. He also (presumably) by going to a gas station in the ghetto late at night.

I bring this up not to disparage the guy but so we can learn from his experience.

    1. This is the conversation I was having with Old 1811. If you take the bumper stickers off your vehicle, to avoid potential issues with people who might be violent and want to injure you for your views, aren't you letting those people suppress you by default.

Leaving immediately might be the smart thing to do, but it also means letting yourself be intimidated. When those thugs started beating on my car in Chattanooga because I rolled my window up so I wouldn't have to listen to their disgusting music, I didn't shoot them. They drove off all puffed up about how they showed that ole' cracker. I still feel bad about that, but I didn't wind up jail for shooting four outstanding black youths on their way to a bible class. There are times I wish I had blown them all away. Like every time I think about that. But it wouldn't have made sense. Round and round in a circle the logic goes.

That happened to me right on Gun Barrel Road. One of the main commercial streets in Chattanooga and nowhere near the projects.

I'm damned if I can figure this one out. Maybe you just do the best you can to stay away from the Morlocks, and then if you get trapped you make the decision on the spot and live with it.

As for walking away from Rastus, TOR, they usually won't let you do that once they get worked up. I can't remember where I read it, but there's a saying "in the jungle, to fly is to invite attack."

  10. My take on the video--So it looks like the white guy was moving towards the store, maybe this was a defensive measure. We don't know what happened next, but I think the guy is smart to get into an area that has better lighting. If he's a CCW holder then he has a clear shot. If not, he can run and hide behind all the store shelves, and thus perhaps has a better chance at living. And just maybe the clerk or somebody can call for help in the meantime.

He's vulnerable just standing out there by his car. Unless of course, he has a G3 :)

Well, I couldn't resist the armchair analysis here. It's just how I roll!

    1. I'd go along with that. One thing I know about Georgia convenience stores though, a lot of them are owned by Pakistanis now, and they lock the doors if they see customers in trouble. There's a video on the blog somewhere of an old white lady, in her 80's, who pulled into a Paki gas station down in Atlanta and some of the "bruddas" attacked her. Another black man there with his wife tried to help the old lady inside, but the bastard Pakistani had locked the door. Then the "black youth" swarmed the black guy who was trying to help and beat him up while his wife and kids watched. He did get the old woman back in her car. That woman shouldn't have been out driving if she was so stupid as to go into that part of town. What stuck in my craw was seeing the Paki lock the door knowing full well the old lady was in danger and the black guy was trying to help her.

The G3 isn't a good rifle for carrying in the vehicle because it's too long. But I wanted something with some punch through power, so I went with 7.62X51 instead of an AK with the intermediate cartridge. What I would really like to have is a short barreled rifle like a Krinkov for the vehicle, but I don't want to do all the paperwork and pay all the fees for a permit.

The white guy was in the wrong place, at the wrong time, but I thought he was pretty stout. At least he did better than I did in Chattanooga.

Thought your analysis was pretty darn good.

    2. harry, have you considered an ar pistol, maybe in 300blkout? or the ak pistol, neither require unusual paper and pack a compact punch. they aren't much good for anything else tho.

    3. Senior Chief has one of those, and he likes it a lot. I remember him posting about it.

I'm too much of a traditionalist. I don't even really like plastic rifles, but I've bowed to reality on that issue. I may buy one of the modified Krinks, with a "just legal" barrel. They were designed for armored vehicle crews and are very handy. There's an outfit out in Arizona that has a good price on them.

  11. You know that video could have been used as evidence in the event that the Trump supporter knew his laws and actually had a concealed weapon on him. I guarantee that guy would have turned around when he came back to his truck and slung that rifle around which would have provoked the owner to escalate the situation to a Deadly-Force situation. It is clear in the video that the democritter was the aggressor and your right, the other guy could be considered as protecting his property as defined as Castle-Laws in many of the CCW/CWL states. Well if that was me, the democritter would be classified as DRT!

    1. You know what popped into my mind when I first saw that video. That I'd have shot the "brudda" and taken that rifle. Strange thought, but it would have been killing two birds with one stone.

I think in South Carolina you would have been good on this , especially now that dot on the face Indian Nikki Haley is gone. I am not sure where the video was taken but if it was in New England , Oregon, Washington, California, or NY, some place like that, being white would have been enough to convict the truck guy of murder if he'd shot Rastus.

  12. Hey Harry,

    (captaincrunch)

I have learned that half the stuff scene on video's has been staged.
I would not have been surprised that the white and black guy were both friends and wanted to make a 'crazy' video that would go viral.
The white guy speaking the same 'garbage dialect' as the black guy so I am suspicious and if an incident like this really happened. It could have made the news. The black thug would have 'opened fire' on the truck with the Trump sticker and the media would have had a field day on that one.

    I think its staged.

Not too many goblins have AR-15's. They are hard to conceal and cost a lot of money. 'Easily concealable hangguns are the thug gun of choice. 'Cops tend to notice goblins with an AR-15's.

    1. CC, I went to considerable trouble to verify this is not a fake. There were two other videos on line that addressed the same issue and came to the conclusion that it was valid.

Unless a video comes from Fox News, there's some difficulty in verifying it's authenticity. I would not trust any news video from any other MSM outlet 100%.

I ran "black pulls rifle" on Google and came up with lots of hits. It's more common than you'd imagine. All of the cop shooters when we had that wave of attacks on police were blacks with rifles.

Lots of younger white people speak niglish. I don't know why, but it's a fact. Probably from watching tv.

My best determination is that this is not a fake. I did the best I could to verify it. I'd say it would be hard to put that on the evening news because it's all "bleeps" and only Fox would put it on the air anyway because the MSM doesn't do stories that make protected minorities look bad.

If I find out that I was wrong and it was not valid, I'll post notice for everybody.

    1. That was on the Fox News program "Headline News" last night. The guy was a convert to Islam, which doesn't surprise me overly much. What does surprise me is that the FBI caught him.

The country is made up of so many disparate "special interest" groups along ethnic and political lines that it really isn't one country anymore. Particularly among the left, there's no longer any concept that people are entitled to their own views. I watched a news clip this morning of people at a Louisiana town hall meeting screaming and freaking out because a preacher was going to open the town hall meeting with a prayer. The Supreme Court ruled this was acceptable some years back, but these people ran off the preacher and stopped him from praying just by shouting and thrashing around their little signs. These are bad times.
